It was another stellar Nippers session on Sunday a It was another stellar Nippers session on Sunday as our budding lifesavers continue to hone their skills. While Saturday’s heavy rainfall meant activities were restricted to the sand the children were kept busy with a range of activities including flags, tug of war and learning the basics of CPR.
There’s mo time like the present to talk about m There’s mo time like the present to talk about mental health.
Our lifesaver bros have been growing their finest moustaches all month long in support of the Movember fundraiser.
Money raised goes to fund game-changing men’s health projects to take on mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Next weekend lifesavers right around the state will also be getting behind the 2024 Mental Wellbeing Blue Patrol.
The initiative aims to raise awareness about wellbeing and mental health with a focus on reducing stigma and educating, connecting and improving the wellbeing of our people.
Mental wellbeing is about feeling good, having positive relationships, functioning well, and feeling that you have purpose and meaning in your life.
Through lifesaving we aim to create space, activity, and connection to enable the mental wellbeing of our members to thrive.
Lifesaving is a family and we are all here to support each other.

We were pleased to last night attend a celebration We were pleased to last night attend a celebration marking Elwood Community Bank’s 25th anniversary.
The bank has been a huge supporter of Elwood Life Saving Club over the years - providing much-needed equipment like helmets, lifejackets and high visibility vests.
It’s also fostered the next generation of lifesavers with new rescue boards and helped us serve the community in new ways like our innovative shred day.
From one stalwart of the Elwood community to another, thank you and Happy Birthday! @bendigobankofficial
